No-Refund Policy

MemoryChain is a made-to-order digital gifting service. When you place an order, we build a completely personalised package using your answers, your photos, and your voice recording. Nothing we create for you can be created for anyone else — because nobody else has your memories.

Depending on the tier you choose, your package includes:

• Lite (₹799) — Memory Diary PDF, Memory Album PDF, and your personalised voice message audio.
• Classic (₹1,999) — Everything in Lite, plus a narrated Memory Album Video with your voice and background music.
• Legacy (₹3,999) — Everything in Classic, plus 3 personalised AI video messages where your portrait photo speaks in your voice.

All deliverables are digital files — there is no physical product, no print option, and no streaming. Files are delivered to your registered WhatsApp and email address via a secure, OTP-gated download link.

Under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India), personalised and custom-made digital products are treated similarly to custom physical orders — once production has commenced, the product belongs to the buyer and cannot be returned, resold, or reused by anyone else.

At MemoryChain, processing begins automatically and immediately the moment your payment is confirmed. Our pipeline begins generating your diary, processing your photos, and preparing your audio. There is no holding period, no manual review stage, and no window in which we can stop the process.

Before you place your order, we provide:

• Watermarked sample outputs across all three tiers on our Samples page — so you know exactly what you are buying.
• Clear guidance on how to answer questions and record your voice — so your output is as beautiful as possible.
• Full transparency on what each tier includes, what is delivered, and how delivery works.

By placing an order, you confirm that you have reviewed this information and are making an informed purchase decision.

The following situations do not qualify for a refund under any circumstances:

• You changed your mind after placing the order.
• You feel the diary does not sound exactly the way you imagined — output quality is directly dependent on the detail and quality of your answers.
• You uploaded poor quality photos and the album did not meet your expectations.
• You recorded your voice message in a noisy environment and are unhappy with the voice output.
• You selected the wrong tier and wish you had chosen a different one.
• Your recipient did not like the gift.
• You placed a duplicate order by mistake — please contact us immediately at support@memorychain.in and we will do our best to help if the order has not yet started processing.
• You were unable to download your files within the 7-day active window — your files remain in secure cold storage for up to 1 year and can be reactivated for a small fee.

We stand fully behind the reliability of our system. However, if a technical failure on our side results in an order that cannot be delivered or produces a corrupted file, we will make it right.

MemoryChain uses AI to craft your diary, narrate your album, and generate your video messages. The quality of what we produce is directly and entirely dependent on the quality of what you give us.

• Diary quality — The more detail, emotion, and specificity you put into your answers, the richer and more personal your diary will be. Short, vague answers produce short, general diary pages.
• Album quality — Clear, well-lit, high-resolution photos produce a beautiful album. Blurry, dark, or low-resolution photos will produce a lower quality result.
• Voice quality — Record in a quiet environment, speak clearly, and record in English. Background noise, muffled audio, or non-English recordings will affect the voice output quality significantly.
• AI Video (Legacy only) — Submit a clear, front-facing portrait photo with good lighting. Sunglasses, group photos, or partial faces will produce poor video output.

We provide clear guidance on all of the above during the order form process. By submitting your order, you confirm that you have read and followed this guidance and accept responsibility for the quality of your inputs.

Once your order is complete, your files are delivered via a secure, OTP-gated download link sent to your registered WhatsApp number and email address. Your download link includes 5 downloads at no additional cost.

• Active storage window: 7 days from delivery notification. Files are available for fast download during this period.
• Cold storage: After 7 days, files move to secure cold storage for up to 1 year (Lite and Classic) or 2 years (Legacy). Files can be reactivated from cold storage for a small fee.
• Permanent deletion: After the cold storage period, files are permanently and irreversibly deleted. MemoryChain cannot recover files after this point.
• Additional downloads: If you exhaust your 5 included downloads, additional download packs are available for ₹49 per 5 downloads.

We strongly recommend downloading your complete package immediately upon receiving your delivery notification and storing it safely on your device or personal cloud storage.

If you have a genuine concern about your order, we ask that you contact us directly at support@memorychain.in before initiating any payment dispute with your bank or payment provider.

By placing an order with MemoryChain, you explicitly acknowledge that you have read this No-Refund Policy, that you understand the nature of the personalised digital product you are purchasing, and that you agree to these terms.

This No-Refund Policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Information Technology Act, 2000. Any disputes arising from or relating to this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Andhra Pradesh, India.

MemoryChain reserves the right to update this policy at any time. The version displayed on this page is the current version. Continued use of our service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
