Refund Policy

MemoryChain is a made-to-order digital gifting service. When you place an order, we build a completely personalised package using your answers, your photos, and your voice recording. Nothing we create for you can be created for anyone else — because nobody else has your memories.

Depending on the tier you choose, your package includes:

• Lite — Memory Diary PDF, Memory Album PDF, and your personalised voice message audio.
• Classic — Everything in Lite, plus a narrated Memory Album Video with your voice and background music.
• Legacy — Everything in Classic, plus 3 personalised AI video messages where your portrait photo speaks in your voice.

All deliverables are digital files — there is no physical product, no print option, and no streaming. Files are delivered to your registered WhatsApp and email address via a secure, OTP-gated download link.

If you need to cancel before MemoryChain has started personalising or processing your order, you may request a refund. Please contact support@memorychain.in as soon as possible with your Memory ID.

We will check whether work has begun and explain the next steps. Contact us promptly if you chose the wrong plan or placed a duplicate order.

Once personalised processing has started, an order is generally non-refundable because work and third-party resources are being used specifically for your order.

A change of mind, a different subjective preference, or the recipient’s reaction does not automatically qualify for a refund after processing begins. Clear photos, detailed answers and a well-recorded voice message help us create the best result from your memories.

This does not prevent you from reporting a genuine issue or affect rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Please contact support@memorychain.in within 7 days of your delivery notification, with your Memory ID and a description of the issue.

For a genuine issue, we first try to correct, regenerate, repair or redeliver the affected output. This includes investigating missing or corrupted files and verified problems with the delivered MemoryChain.

If a verified issue cannot reasonably be resolved after appropriate attempts, we may provide an appropriate refund or MemoryChain credit/coupon toward a replacement or future order, depending on the circumstances. Credit is not the only possible remedy.

MemoryChain uses AI to craft your diary, narrate your album, and generate your video messages. The quality of what we produce is directly and entirely dependent on the quality of what you give us.

• Diary quality — The more detail, emotion, and specificity you put into your answers, the richer and more personal your diary will be. Short, vague answers produce short, general diary pages.
• Album quality — Clear, well-lit, high-resolution photos produce a beautiful album. Blurry, dark, or low-resolution photos will produce a lower quality result.
• Voice quality — Record in a quiet environment, speak clearly, and record in English. Background noise, muffled audio, or non-English recordings will affect the voice output quality significantly.
• AI Video (Legacy only) — Submit a clear, front-facing portrait photo with good lighting. Sunglasses, group photos, or partial faces will produce poor video output.

We provide clear guidance on all of the above during the order form process. By submitting your order, you confirm that you have read and followed this guidance and accept responsibility for the quality of your inputs.

Once your MemoryChain is complete, your finished package is delivered through a secure, OTP-protected download link. Your order includes 5 downloads at no additional cost.

• 7-day support & privacy window: For the first 7 days after delivery, we keep the files needed to investigate and correct any genuine delivery or technical issue you report.
• Working files: After this 7-day period, customer-provided uploads and temporary processing files are removed once the final delivery package has been safely created.
• Your final package: The completed MemoryChain package remains available for download according to your selected tier: Lite for 3 months, Classic for 6 months, and Legacy for 1 year from delivery.
• Permanent deletion: At the end of your tier's availability period, the retained MemoryChain package is permanently deleted from our storage and can no longer be recovered by MemoryChain.

We strongly recommend downloading your complete MemoryChain as soon as you receive it and keeping your own copy on your device, external drive, or personal cloud storage.

If you have a genuine concern about your order, we ask that you contact us directly at support@memorychain.in before initiating any payment dispute with your bank or payment provider.

By placing an order with MemoryChain, you explicitly acknowledge that you have read this Refund Policy, that you understand the nature of the personalised digital product you are purchasing, and that you agree to these terms.

This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Information Technology Act, 2000. Any disputes arising from or relating to this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Andhra Pradesh, India.

MemoryChain reserves the right to update this policy at any time. The version displayed on this page is the current version. Continued use of our service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
